Rubric Structure


iFYPX 2026 EXHIBITION & COMPETITION

The evaluation structure for CSIT-UPM iFYP 2026 is designed to ensure a fair, transparent, and comprehensive assessment of Final Year Projects (FYP). The rubrics are structured into three main categories.

Category 1: Semi-Final Evaluation (Project Assessment)

The semi-final stage focuses on assessing the overall quality, originality, and feasibility of the projects. This stage serves as a screening process to identify high-quality projects that qualify for the final round.

Total score = (Score / 30) × 100

Based on the total rubric score, projects will be awarded:

  • 🥇 Gold Award
  • 🥈 Silver Award
  • 🥉 Bronze Award

The gold awards from this stage will proceed to the final round.

Category 2: Final Evaluation (Project Pitching)

The pitching competition evaluates students’ ability to communicate, justify, and promote their project effectively within a limited time frame. This category emphasizes presentation skills and project value articulation, particularly for industry and innovation relevance.

Category 3: Final – Poster Presentation Rubric

The poster presentation category assesses the project’s visual communication quality and the student’s ability to present complex technical information in a concise and engaging manner.
